Goddard College at the Sundance Film Festival

In January 2011, Goddard College staff and students traveled to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah to support and attend Goddard faculty member Alrick Brown’s feature film, “Kinyarwanda,” inspired by Executive Director Ishmael Ntihabose’s stories of survivors of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. They discussed Goddard’s influence on their artistic practices and their lives with Kris Gruen, Executive Director of WGDR/WGDH, Goddard College community radio.

World Challenger Matt Paneitz (BAS '12)

Alumnus Mateo Paneitz (BAS '12) went to Comalapa, Guatemala, in 2003 as a Peace Corps volunteer. Peneitz's desire to help this impoverished, predominantly Mayan community didn't end with his tour though. He sold his car in the U.S. to raise funds to found the non-profit Long Way Home, Inc., to create better employment and education opportunities in Comalapa.
