Also, join us for a Poetry Reading: "Re-versing Global Warming" at the art gallery on May 30, from 7-8pm. Poets reading are former Vermont Poet Laureate Ellen Bryant Voigt, David Budbill, Ben Aleshire of Honeybee Press, and Cleopatra Mathis.
About the poetry reading for climate change: Poets write poems to renew our world. Never so much as now do we need to renew our world, to renew our vision and strength to see our way through old ways of being and old ways of corruption. We have to see our way through to a world that will be a place fit for humans, and all other creatures and beings. We have to do this fast before it is too late. We have to fight with words and action the mighty Fossil Fuel Industry. Never was there such a big fight. This is the first in a series of poetry readings by some of the best poets in Vermont. Come listen to the poets revitalize us and give us strength.
