  Meet faculty, students, and alumni whose work in the world builds communities, defies artistic boundaries, creates justice and inclusion, and bridges nature, culture and well-being. Recent graduates and current students will share their inspiring and varied work and talk about the Goddard experience. The afternoon will include refreshments, creative performances, and short presentations on alternative agriculture, urban herbalism, anti-racist activism, and more.

Emancipating Boundaries

An arts festival produced by graduating students of Goddard College's MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts Program in Port Townsend. Free and open to the public. Ten interdisciplinary artists from across the country present Emancipating Boundaries, a collaborative festival of new works at Fort Worden. Events include art exhibitions, performances, community dialogue, and a commencement ceremony open to the public across four venues on the Fort Worden State Park campus, Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22.

Visiting writer for the BFA in Creative Writing Program reads from his work. Free and open to the public. Brian Evenson is the author of a dozen books of fiction, most recently the story collection Windeye (Coffee House Press, 2012) and the novel Immobility (Tor, 2012), both of which were finalists for a Shirley Jackson Award.
