A native born Vermonter, Bob Stannard has been playin' and singin' the Blues since 1969. He has performed with some of the world's best players at some of the finest venues in the world. He has played with BB King at BB's club in NYC, Foxwoods Casino and the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland. For that show they were joined by legendary keyboardist, Joe Sample.
This is the story of how a few unpromising high-school students discovered a lost heroine of World War II, a Polish social worker who saved hundreds of Jewish children, and how this discovery changed recent Polish social history.
Cornelius Eady is author of many books of poetry, including Victims of the Latest Dance Craze, winner of the Lamont Prize of the Academy of American Poets, The Gathering of My Name, nominated for the Pulitzer Prize, and Brutal Imagination. He is co-founder of Cave Canem, a national organization for African American poetry and poets. This event is free and open to the public and is part of a mini literary festival at Goddard College to celebrate the College's 150th Anniversary!
