2014 Clockhouse Writers' Conference & Retreat

The Clockhouse Writers' Conference was founded in 1996 to provide Goddard College MFA in Creative Writing (MFAW) alumni the time, space, and community to continue the writing practice they established at Goddard and have since brought to the world at large, and--just as importantly--the opportunity to support the MFAW program and its students.  The conference runs from June 30th to July 4th. A full conference schedule will be sent to all registrants in early June. In the meantime, here is the schedule for Monday, June 30:

Stephanie Elizondo Griest is a globe-trotting author and activist from South Texas. Her books include the memoirs Around the Bloc: My Life in Moscow, Beijing, and Havana (Random House, 2004) and Mexican Enough: My Life Between the Borderlines (Simon & Schuster, 2008) as well as the best-selling guidebook 100 Places Every Woman Should Go (Travelers’ Tales, 2007).
