Montpelier, Vt. -- Poets Michael Leong (pictured at right), Janet Sylvester, Michael Vizsolyi, Arisa White, and Wendy Call read original work as well as translations at this PoemCity 2014 event. Michael Leong, author of Cutting Time with a Knife; Janet Sylvester, author of The Mark of Flesh; Michael Vizsolyi, author of The Lamp with Wings: love sonnets; and Arisa White, author of Hurrah's Nest, will read from their recent work.

The Clockhouse Writers' Conference was founded in 1996 to provide Goddard College MFA in Creative Writing (MFAW) alumni the time, space, and community to continue the writing practice they established at Goddard and have since brought to the world at large, and--just as importantly--the opportunity to support the MFAW program and its students. The conference runs from June 30th to July 4th. A full conference schedule will be sent to all registrants in early June. In the meantime, here is the schedule for Monday, June 30:
Stephanie Elizondo Griest is a globe-trotting author and activist from South Texas.
