A performance by iconoclastic comedian/spoken word artist, Kate Rigg. This show is Rated R for mature audiences only.

"re: Mix't" is a mixed breed multi culti politi comic mashup of ideas and dirty jokes. The performance includes comedy and music from Slanty Eyed Mama, that addresses the deconstruction of racial language, edgy political and cultural commentary and gender bias. Rigg's material is purposely edgy, thought provoking and politically anarchic. Read more about Kate below.

About Kate Rigg:

Kate Rigg is known in the Asian American and mixed race communities for subversive, post- colonial discourse about race and represent-asian. As front person for Slanty Eyed Mama, she creates lyrical raps on women of color issues, feminism, satire and stereotype. Her cult hit shows Kate's Chinkorama featuring the chinkorama dancers and Birth of a nASIAN have been invited to the Smithsonian Institute, Comedy Central Theater, New World Stages, and toured theaters and campuses nationally. She is a multi-award winning writer and a graduate of the Juilliard School and spoke on racial bias and stereotype on the Dr. Phil Show.
