A Black History Month Celebration with a special concert honoring the music of Cal Massey and Fred Ho!

Tickets: $12 advanced online | $15 at the door.

The Red, Black & Green Revolutionary Eco-Music Tour comes to Goddard College to perform the music of two of the most influential revolutionary big band jazz composers, Cal Massey and Fred Ho.

Cal Massey, known for his mentorship to John Coltrane, is an iconic composer of the 1960s epic jazz classic, 'The Black Liberation Movement Suite.' It will be coupled with the world premiere of new work by Guggenheim Fellowship recipient composer Fred Ho—'The Scientific Soul Revolutionary Gardens of Harlem Suite.'

The Red, Black & Green Revolutionary Eco-Music Tour celebrates how radical and revolutionary music and environmental justice can be united and expanded towards a popular and critical movement that is centered upon artistic creativity and daring, social activism with grassroots organizing and ecological-centered imperatives.
