Rowe Conference Center Affiliation

Goddard’s Health Arts and Sciences Program has a new affiliation with the Rowe Conference Center in Rowe, Massachusetts. This affiliation allows Goddard students to draw from weekend enrichment programs at Rowe as part of their study plans.

Fully matriculated Health Arts and Sciences students may enhance their self-designed Goddard studies through embedding Rowe learning events into their study plans under the guidance of Health Arts and Sciences Program advisors. They can enroll in selected learning events at Rowe, including “Non-Violent Communication: The Work of Transformation” with Deena Metzger, “World as Lover, World as Self” with Joanna Macy, and more. After participating in Rowe sessions, students will deepen these experiential studies through written reflection with their Goddard advisors, inquiry involving continued and related readings, and innovative and practical applications.

The affiliation the Rowe Conference Center provides Health Arts and Sciences students with an opportunity to enhance their studies as a whole and build connections with other individuals and communities that share similar interests. Goddard students and faculty members who attended recent Rowe events say that they appreciated the social connections, spiritual nurturance, and a renewed personal and community vision.

Financial Aid:

When Goddard students anticipate building a Rowe learning activity into their study plan as a resource, they may request additional financial aid to support funding the Rowe activity from Goddard’s Financial Aid Office during the relevant semester. This aid may be in the form of a private loan, which would require a credit check and a co-signer. If students receive a refund from Goddard on their federal student loans, part of that funding can be used toward paying for the affiliated programs.

Rowe Conference Center Discount:

Rowe will provide a 20% discount to fully enrolled Goddard students who choose to participate in Rowe’s learning experiences as part of their studies. On occasion, there may be some exception to discount availability. For more information, call 413-339-4954 or email [email protected].
